Validation of Uganda’s Industrial Development agenda is expected to commence next week, according to the National Planning Authority.
The Authority says commercial feasibility studies on key mineral deposits such as steel is now complete, with the aim of stimulating industrialisation.
Its anticipated that a sufficiently upgraded industrial policy could double the 23% output of the sector to GDP by helping sort out the current sectoral bottlenecks.
