On Thursday, about 60 special police constables staged a peaceful demonstration over their unpaid allowances for the Presidential and Local Council Elections at the Hoima City Electoral Commission Office.The SPCs stormed the Commission office demanding for their money for the two elections that have been so far conducted. Each Constable is supposed to be given a daily allowance of 40,000 shillings and everyone is demanding 80,000 shillings for the elections held.
