Uganda’s Public Procurement law has been lauded by many, it suffers from a major loophole that allows contractors who lose out on contracts awards to cause unnecessary objections in order to stall procurement process. However, Finance minister, Matia Kasaija, has revealed that such objections might soon be a thing of the past because the law is being reviewed with the intention of making necessary amendments that will ease government procurement.
