The Inspector General of Police Martins Okoth Ochola has warned police officers against using torture as a means of extracting information from suspects, explaining that any evidence obtained that way would not be used in court.
Ochola, who was speaking at the opening of a workshop for senior police officers, also called on police officers to always follow proper procedure and respect human rights.
