Uganda’s economy or gross domestic product expanded by about 7trn shs from 115 trillion to 122 trillion now.
The change follows a revision of the base year for GDP computation from 2009/10 and 2016/17.
A rebase is done by countries to capture additions or even subtractions on the variables used to measure GDP in the industry, agriculture and other sectors of the economy.
