The police are investigating one of their own, after two shops along Kampala road were robbed of several items and cash worth at least 23 million shillings. Speaking to NTV, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango says the police officer was only staying at the premises of one of the shops and was never deployed to guard the place. However, the shop owners claim that the police officer has been guarding their shop for one year at a a fee of 200,000 shillings.
