Gulu University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jack Nyeko Pen-Mogi has defended his decision to suspend the semester one examinations.
He says, the University does not have a constitutional right to pay the 700 million shillings the academic staff is demanding and that the suspension of exams is in the best interest of the students and general security of Gulu town.
Pen-Mogi further revealed that the examinations have been suspended until 15th January 2018. Here is more.
