MPs worried about Kabale hospital preparedness on Covid-19

Parliament’s Health Commitee says Kabale regional Referral hospital still has a long way to go before it meets the requirements for handling cases of Covid-19.

According to the members of the committee, the hospital has not yet designated a specific isolation area for covid-19 cases as well as other necessary protocols.

The MPs are touring the country to assess the capacity of public health facilities to handle the Covid-19 pandemic.
