MAK student leaders protest suspension of nine colleagues
A section of the Makerere University Guild Representative Councils has petitioned the University’s Vice Chancellor to reconsider what they call a harsh decision towards nine students this week. The Vice chancello Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe suspended nine students on grounds of illegal demonstrations and inciting violence. The councils have given the Vice- Chancellor until Monday to have the students recalled.
