A witness testifying before the commission of inquiry into land a, which is currently hearing land cases in Mubende district, has accused the minister of Public Service Muruli Mukasa, of being complicit in the eviction of over seven thousand people from Bukoba village, located in Nalutuntu sub-county in Mubende district.
Charles Bukenya, the then chairman of Bukoba village recounted the events surrounding the eviction. He accused Minister Muruli Mukasa of ordering his arrest for rejecting the compensation he was given and raising the matter before the President.
