Investing in Bulky Water Projects

The Uganda government has secured 88.4 billion shillings to fund the construction of three valley dams in the north Eastern part of the country. The valley dams are to be constructed in Kaboongo and Kotido to stop Karamajongs from invading neigbouring areas in search for water. As Fatiah Nasali reports the funding is from the International Authority on Development, IGAD.
