As a means to attract youth into active agribusiness, the Uganda farmers federation has designed a programme aimed at changing the perception of youth towards agriculture. Under this programme, dubbed Young farmers international exchange, ten farmers will be taken to Germany for a three month experiential training. According to Humphrey Mutaasa, the director partnerships at Uganda farmers federation, this training is targeted active young farmers, who affect their peers. This program is set to begin on 8th October this year.
