The Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development Pius Bigirimana, two former ministers and two businessmen are among those who have been named in the questionable disposal and acquisition of properties that belonged to Asians who were forced out of Uganda in the 1970s.
Over 26 years, government has lost close to 1.8 trillion shillings in the sale, and rent fees from these assets which it previously paid for.
