A feasibility study to ascertain the commercial viability of an estimated 1 Billion Metric Tons of iron ore in the west and eastern parts of Uganda will take effect this July. The European Union is funding the feasibility study at a cost 1.3 Million Euros, which is ultimately expected to draw in large scale investments in processing so as to support industrial growth.
