Democratic Party members have resorted to blows following a disagreement over matters relating to how to select candidates for the primaries. The party leadership had planned a national executive meeting. However, word went around that the party president Norbert Mao had planned to suspend the party’s organizing secretary Sulaiman Kidandala, but other members tried to stop this, leading to the altercation.
