The Civil Aviation Authority has denied any involvement in the transportation, handling and delivery of the five extra cargo pallets that were transported on a chartered plane, carrying newly printed Bank of Uganda currency notes. Despite the consignment entering through Entebbe International Airport, Civil Aviation Authority officials claim they were under clear instructions from the Central Bank not to interfere with the cargo’s movement.
