As activists prepare to take part in a global climate strike on Friday, Civil Society Organisations are calling for reforms and more accountability. Leaders from various environmental advocacy groups said they have written to parliament seeking accountability from government on the implementation of laws like the ban of polythene bags and National Wetland Policies. Others want Western Powers to take responsibility for the climate challenges in Africa and other developing countries.Friday’s campaign will be led by young people under ‘Youth Go Green’.
