Dr. Badru Kiggundu, the former Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, who was recently appointed by the President to inspect the tourism roads in the Mt Elgon region has described the roads as unmotorable.
The Chief Warden of Mt Elgon National Park Fred Kiiza says if the current roads are repaired and new ones constructed, then the tourist numbers to the park will grow from 5,000 to 20,000 annually.
